Entering an Incidental Expense

Incidental expenses are expenses other than meals or room rates that you have charged to your room. They are the little things, like long distance or phone access, mini-bar charges, and in-room movies, that can add up.

  1. Click Continue to Incidentals, if you have not already done so, to display the Incidentals pane. 

  2. Click + to add a new incidental expense row. 

  3. Enter the date of the expense in the Date field, or click the calendar icon select the date.

  4. Select the type of expense from the Category list.

  5. Enter the expense total in the Total field. 

  6. Click the attendee search icon. The attendees box appears.

  7. Select the attendees, if any, from the Attendees list. Add new attendees by name, if necessary.

  8. Click Done when you are finished adding attendees.

  9. Repeat steps 2 through 10 until you have added all incidental expenses.

  10. Click one of the following:

Return to Meals - If you have additional meal expenses to enter.

Save and Enter Another Expense Item - If you have other expense items to enter.

Save and Close - If you want to add more expenses to the report at a later time.

Cancel - If you don’t want to save the report.
