Notes

The Notes function allows you to add or view more information for a record. Apptricity applications provide these types of notes:

Note Type	Description
User	A note that has been added by a user
System	A note created and added by the application
Rule	A note created and added when a defined rule has been defined

Not all Apptricity applications have Rule notes. Only applications that use rules have Rule notes.

In most Apptricity applications, Notes can be added by clicking the Notes icon. The following is an example of the Notes window.

Adding a Note

You can only add User notes. System and Rule notes are added by the application.

To add a User note:

1. Click the Notes icon to display the Notes window.

2. Click Add a New Note to display the note text area.

3. Type your note, and then click Save. The newest note is displayed at the top of the list.

4. Click Close to exit the Notes window.
