A layout must be created for each new page you add.
To create a layout for a page:
1. Click the Administration icon in the upper navigation pane. The Administration menu is displayed in the left navigation pane.
2. Click the Customization icon in the Administration menu. The Customization menu is displayed.
3. Click the Layouts icon in the Customization menu. The Layouts screen is displayed.
4. Click Add Layout. The Add Layout pane is displayed.
5. Change a Form.
6. Enter a code for your layout in the Code field.
7. Enter a number in the Sort Order field to represent the order in which you want to display the form.
8. Enter a validation constraint in the Constraint Class field.
9. Enter the maximum length for the constraint class in the Max Length field.
10. Enter the number of decimal places for the constraint in the Decimal Places field.
11. Enter the total display length for the value in the Display Length field
12. Enter the Span value in the Span field.
13. Enter the Hflex value in the Hflex field.
14. Select one of the following:
- In-Place Editor if you want the defined edit to take place where it is found.
- Header Sort if you want to sort at the header level.
15. Select one or more of the following:
- Display Only - If you want the field to be a read-only field.
- Required - If you want the field to be a mandatory field.
- Visible - If you want the field to be displayed for the user.
16. Select the comparator for the field from the Comparator list.
17. Enter any arguments needed to complete the function in the Display Args field.
18. Select the type of renderer you want to use from the Type list.
19. Enter the default value for the field in the Default Value field.
20. Enter the default provider in the Default Provider field.
21. Change the Label Keyword Name.
22. Change the Tooltip Keyword Name.
23. Change a Permission.
24. Click Save.
